About Jeff Poulton

A 10-year software development veteran, seasoned in leading teams and managing development efforts of large-scale web applications. I am passionate about agile software methodologies (BDD, Scrum, etc) and internet startups.

I have been involved in eight start-up ventures, resulting in a vast wealth of practical knowledge and experience in internet startups and agile web development.

In addition, I have worked on a half dozen large, enterprise-grade software applications ranging from teams of 20-400 people and with budgets in excess of $2 billion (yes, that’s billion with a b).

My ultimate passion and speciality is working with clients to bring into fruition compelling and purposeful ideas in the form of high-quality, custom web applications.

A short bit on me…

First and foremost, I am a husband to the most incredible woman alive, a father of four amazing children and in general, I love being alive.

After that, I am a passionate Ruby on Rails developer, a {biking|climbing|hiking|swimming} enthusiast, a paleo chef (ahem…in my own kitchen), an avid reader, and a huge fan of tech startups.

My current role is software engineering manager at OveractDev Technology Partners in St. George, UT. We build custom web applications with pride and craftsmanship.
